However, people over the age of 45 can get vaccinated by registering at the immunization center.
According to the officials of the health department, the demand for vaccines is expected to increase after everyone starts vaccinating. For the purpose of crowd control, it has been made mandatory for people between the ages of 18 and 45 to register on the Covin app and take the time to get vaccinated. Initially, registration at vaccination centers will not be allowed so that there is no rush. At present private covid-19 vaccine centers are taking vaccine doses from the government and giving them to the people at the rate of Rs. 250 per dose. The system will end on May 1 and private hospitals will have to buy doses directly from vaccine companies. According to the National Covid-19 Immunization Strategy, health workers, front-line personnel, and people above the age of 45 years will continue to be vaccinated free of cost by the Central Government at government immunization centers. Vaccine companies will have to announce 50 percent of the price for the supply of vaccines available to the state governments in the open market before May 1. Based on this price, private hospitals, industrial establishments will be able to buy vaccines from manufacturers.
