In Pakistan, Violence has erupted following the arrest of Saad Hussain Rizvi, head of the radical Tehreek-e-Labaq Pakistan (TLP). As a result, a group of Indian Sikh pilgrims, who had arrived in Pakistan on the occasion of Baisakhi, are stranded in Lahore. The group is currently stranded at Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore.

Now the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has made arrangements for the stay of the devotees.

On Monday, a Sikh group of about 1,000 pilgrims left for Pakistan to attend the Baisakhi celebrations.

According to the program, the pilgrims were supposed to visit Panja Sahib Gurdwara Sahib, but due to the bad situation in Pakistan, they are unable to travel and the Jatha is stuck at Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore.

The leaders said that for the safety of the pilgrims, it is not possible to send them ahead. PTI
