The Ministry of Road and Transport has issued new guidelines for the creation and renewal of driving licenses. In this new rule, all the processes will be online. In such a situation, all the processes from application to license printing will be online. Besides, electronic certificates and documents will be used for a medical certificate, learning licenses, driving license surrender, and renewal.
After the new guidelines, the process of vehicle registration has also become simple. Now the registration certificate (RC) can be renewed 60 days in advance. At the same time, the time period for temporary registration has been increased from 1 month to six months.
At the same time, the licensing process has also been changed. According to which people will not have to go to the RTO office for the driving test. All work can be done online from home. People will not be required to show documents for these facilities online. Verification is to be done by entering the Aadhaar card number just by visiting the website parivahan.gov.in. Once verification is done, they can avail the services. RTO office will not have to go round, sitting at home, smartphone or desktop will be done.
These services include an application for change of registration certificate address, registration for driver training, registration of motor vehicle application, application for assignment of registration mark of a motor vehicle of diplomatic officer, hire-purchase agreement, duplicate registration application, registration certificate Services for NOC, vehicle registration transfer, vehicle ownership transfer application, etc.
