Elon Musk said, I have Aspergers Syndrome, my brain works differently

Tesla and SpaceX company owner Elon Musk has said they have Aspergers Syndrome. He told this in a program called the American comedy television show Saturdays Night Live.

Elon Musk is the known face of the tech world. It is believed that this is the first time Elon Musk has given this information about himself.

The 49-year-old Musk told the audience on the show, “I am the first person to have Aspergers Syndrome and who is hosting a long-running television show.” It is believed that people who have Aspergers Syndrome see their surrounding environment differently than ordinary people.

The program Saturdays Night Live, which started in 1970, has previously featured celebrities like Adele, Chris Rock, Ringo Starr and Will Farrell. Elon Musk attended the show as a guest host.

In the program, he said, “I am told that I am a great person to do comedy because my voice does not fluctuate. Actually, by joining the Saturday Night Live program, I am creating history because I am the host I am the first person with Asperger’s syndrome.”

What is Aspergers Syndrome?
Asperger’s syndrome is a lifelong mental health problem that can affect a person in different ways.

  • Some people like to call this problem Asperger’s Syndrome, but many prefer to call themselves autistic or on autism.
  • A person struggling with this problem may have trouble understanding the things said or untold, his brain takes more time than the common person to process any kind of information.
  • Such a person also finds it difficult to express his feelings. However, such people may be more sensitive to others and more emotional than non-autistic individuals.
  • Many people with Aspergers Syndrome have more interest than an ordinary person for a particular job and they are also able to focus on it and many make it their career.
