A woman from Orissa fell madly in love with a Pakistani youth and reached Kartarpur corridor. The woman became so madly in love with the Pakistani boy that she left her home in Orissa and reached Dera Baba Nanak to cross the Pakistan border. BSF was seen walking in suspicious condition near Kartarpur corridor. With the help of female constables, she was taken into custody and handed over to Dera Baba Nanak police. The woman has been handed over to the family by Dera Baba Nanak police. She is around 25 years old and had been married for the last six years. There, the DSP said that according to the woman’s statement, she had been chatting with a Pakistani boy for the last two months through an internet app. Later, a conversation started with the boy from Islamabad, Pakistan, Mohammad Waqar through WhatsApp. According to the woman, Mohammad Waqar asked the girl to come to Pakistan via Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, India-Pakistan border, Dera Baba Nanak. She stayed at Gurdwara Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar on April 5 and reached Dera Baba Nanak by bus on April 6. DSP Kanwalpreet Singh said that when the woman reached Dera Baba Nanak, a corridor on the Indo-Pakistan border, the BSF sent her back saying that the corridor was closed due to corona and it was impossible to go to Pakistan without a passport. Dera Baba Nanak police were also informed about the incident. Police later contacted the concerned police station in Orissa and found out that a report of her disappearance had been lodged by the woman’s husband. The woman’s family has been contacted and Dera Baba Nanak has been called and she has been sent to her family.
