Indian women’s T20 cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur’s corona report has come positive. She underwent a test when she noticed mild symptoms. Harman was part of the team in the one-day series played with the South African team recently, but did not play the T20 series due to injury in the fifth match.
Tests done after fever
The news agency quoted sources as saying that Harman had been suffering from fever for four days and was experiencing mild symptoms. She then got Corona examined on Monday and on Tuesday, her test turned out to be positive. However, she is still well and has quarantined herself at home.
Four players played in road safety series are also positive
Sachin Tendular, who recently played in the Road Safety World Series in Raipur, was found to be Corona positive. Apart from Sachin, Irfan Pathan, his brothers Yusuf Pathan and Subramanian Badrinath have also been infected. Irfan was recently commenting with Parthiv Patel and Akash Chopra during the one-day series with England.
One half century was made in ODIs
Harmanpreet had scored 160 runs with a half-century in the five-match ODI series against South Africa. During this, she scored innings of 40, 36, 30 and 54 runs. She has played a total of 2 Tests, 104 ODIs and 114 T20 Internationals. She has scored 2,532 runs with 25 wickets in ODIs and 2,186 runs with 29 wickets in T20s. While taking 26 runs in Tests, she has taken 9 wickets.
